Description

This requirement is being procured in accordance with Part 36 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation. The National Park Service intends to issue a Request for Proposal for a Curatorial/Archival Storage Facility. Location: Timucuan Ecological & Historic Preserve, Jacksonville, Florida. The work consists of the contractor providing all materials, labor, parts, tools, equipment, supervision and all other incidentals as necessary for general construction of the Curatorial/Archival Storage Facility with associated appurtenances. The building is to be insulated, reinforced masonry structure with a reinforced concrete slab. The roof will be a hip roof of standing seam metal on standard prefabricated steel roof trusses. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 23332. The size standard is $27.5 million. The price range is $250,000.00 - $500,000.00. A firm-fixed price contract will be awarded. This solicitation will be issued electronically on the Department of Interior's National Business Center (NBC) web site at http://ideasec.nbc.gov. All offerors must have a DUNS number in order to download the solicitation. Please contact Dun and Bradstreet at 1-800-333-0505 to receive a DUNS number. HARD COPIES OF THE SOLICITATION WILL NOT BE AVAILABLE. The solicitation will be available on or about November 29, 2002.
