Description

This is a Regional Indefinite Quantity Contract to provide various types of asphalt paving, concrete work, pavement markings, and incidental work related to Road and Bridge Standards. Work may be ordered for industrial, commercial, and residential locations indicated within each task order. The Government contemplates that Two Contracts will be awarded from this solicitation. One contract will be for 2 separate Federal Activities in the cities of Portsmouth and Yorktown, Virginia, and one will be at 3 Federal Activities (2) in Norfolk and (1) in Virginia Beach, Virginia. Each site location (5 total) will administer the work they order. This is a Multiple Award Indefinite Delivery Contract. This solicitation is for a period of one year. The Government may extend the term of the contract for a period of one to twelve months. The total durations including the exercise of any options shall not exceed 36 months. The proposed procurement is unrestricted. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 23411 and the size standard is $27,500,000.00. This (IFB) will be posted on the NAVFACENGCOM Electronic Solicitation (E-Sol) web site on or about 13 December 2002. Estimated bid opening date is 16 January 2003.
