Description: NA See Note 22. The Defense Threat Reduction Agency intends to issue a modification to contract DSWA01-98-C-0186 to extend the period of performance 12 months. The contract is with SAIC and is in support of the Sensor Hardening Technology Program. Additiona l work to be performed during the period of performance extension is the development of a field programmable gate array. The statutory authority for other than full and open competition is 10 USC 2304(c)(1) implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation 6. 302-1 only one responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy agency needs.
