Grade JP8 Aviation Turbine Fuel, NSN: 9130-01-031-5816, MIL-DTL-83133E dated April 1, 1999, Purchase Program 2.2A, quantity 1,454,622,000 USG; Grade JP5 Aviation Turbine Fuel, NSN: 9130-00-273-2379, MIL-DTL-5624T dated September 18, 1998, Purchase Program 2.2C, quantity 358,170,000 USG; Grade F76 Naval Distillate Fuel, NSN: 9140-00-273-2377, MIL-F-16884J dated May 31, 1995, Purchase Program 2.5A, quantity 186,870,000 USG and MUM Gasoline, Auto, Midgrade, 89 Octane, NSN 9130-01-272-0983, ASTM D4814, Purchase Program 2.5A, quantity 705,000 USG. Requirements are for U.S. Inland, East and Gulf Coasts and Offshore locations of Puerto Rico, Cuba and Panama. Ordering period is Date of Award through March 31, 2004. Delivery period is April 1, 2003 through March 31, 2004, plus a thirty-day carryover priod. Approximately 32% of all products are being set aside for small businesses. Some quantities may be set aside as 8(a) reservations. DESC is unable to accept any offers from snall businesses for which the same quantities are being used as supply commitments for the 8(a) program. Copies of this Inland/West RFP will be available via the World Wide Web (WWW) at the Defense Energy Support Center Home Page (www.desc.dla.mil) and/or the Federal Business Opportunities homepage at www.fedbizopps.gov. A WWW posting notice will be sent to firms on the solicitation mailing list on the date the Inland/East/Gulf RFP is issued and posted on the DESC Home Page. Requests for paper copies of this RFP or the WWW posting notice must be submitted by fax at (703) 767-9269 to ATTN: DESC-BZA (Diane Eckert), RFP SP0600-03-R-0061. All responsible sources may submit a proposal which shall be considered. Offerors are required to complete, sign and return the document entitled Offer Submission Package to the Bid Custodian at DESC. Electronic mail offers will not be accepted. See Note(s) 2, 9 and 12.
