Description

This sole-source combined solicitation synopsis for commercial items is prepared in accordance with the format in FAR subpart 12.6, as supplemented for informational purposes only. This is NOT a request for competitive proposals. Only one solicitation will be issued and only one proposal will be requested. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 51491: On-Line Information Services: 18 million. This serves as a notice of intent to award a contract on a sole-source basis in accordance with FAR 6.302-1, to Congressional Quarterly, Inc.,CQ.com on Congress, 1414 22nd Street, Washington D.C. 20037. This is necessary because it is the only known responsible and responsive source that can satisfy the Government?s particular service requirement for real-time web access to the CQ Daily Monitor news journal. CQ Weekly magazine, CQ House Action Reports, and CQ Politics in America fully searchable by bill number, key word, or phase, subject code, subject code, committee and member name. This unique requirement can be met by contracting for the required service can only be met by contracting for the required service from the same source on an ?other than full and open competitive? basis.
