Description

NA Lease of Tower Space which meets ANSI/EIA 222-E standards for a 100 mile per hour basic wind speed (no ice) to accomodate two Motorola DB640's (35 lbs each) with 1 quarter inch coax from source to base: one GP10F Microwave dish (265 lbs) fed with 1 quarter inch coax. The afore mentioned shall be mounted by the Government under a separate contract. The tower shall be in the proper location and shall be of the proper height to provide the microwave interface to the Eglin Air Force Base operational Base Supp ort Trunked Radio System. The tower location and microwave interface shall provide 95% coverage of Camp Rudder and the Yellow and Shoal River Valley from Florida State Highway 90 and the Yellow and Shal River to the bay covering all wet lands. This solicitation is set-aside for small business and is for awarding a firm fixed-priced contract with the estimated magnitude between $100,000.00 and $250,000.00. This So licitation is issued SUBJECT TO THE AVAILABILITY OF FUNDS. Performance period is a Base Period and four Option Periods. Solicitation will be available on or about 12 December 2002 and will be available at no cost on ASFI (acquisition.army.mil). All resp onsible bidders may submit bids which will be considered by this Agency.
