- NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes th e only solicitation; offers are being requested and a written solicitation is being issued. This solicitation number is DAHA47-03-Q-0104, and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The RFQ incorporates provisions and clauses as those in effect thro ug h Federal Acquisition Circular Number 02-09. This solicitation is UNRESTRICTED. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 331210 with a business standard of 1000 employees or less. Description of commodity: The requirements for asso ciated piping for the fuels job necessary to complete the connection from building 606 and the isolation valve pit number 1 as listed. Line item 0001 - Approximately 750 feet of double walled, 10-inch, stainless steel piping for the product delivery line a nd associated bends as described in the specifications and drawings. Line item 0002 - Approximately 750 feet of double walled, 8-inch stainless steel piping for product recovery line and associated bends as described in the specifications and drawings. All materials will be compliant with the specifications as delineated within the specification package (Section 15060) and requirements of the associated drawings (Drawings F-26 and F27) provided within the design of the project. The quote should include all materials necessary to complete and provide a fully functional line with fuel carrying capability (include gasketing, bleeders etc) as required by specification and drawings. Drawings and specifications are required and available via fax or e-mail (e-mail is the preferred method for clarity) at the number/address below. Qualifying off ers will meet the stated specifications and be accompanied by completed provisions 52.212-3 and 252.225-7000 and provide three (3) customer references with busi ness name and point of contact with telephone number. The quotes must provide sufficient detail on the proposed item to allow the Government to make an informed determination. The Government will award a contract resulting from this solicitation to the res ponsible offeror whose offer conforms to the solicitation and will be most advantageous to the Government.
