Description

NA The project provides two (2) 100,000 bbl (31,800 KL total) cut-and-cover, steel lined, reinforced concrete storage tanks for JP-8 fuel. Includes two (2) position refueler truck fill stands w/canopy, a filter building, one (1) 4,000 gallon product recover y tank and standby generator. The specific facility components include: 1) Five (5) tank mounted 600 gpm vertical turbine pumps (1 spare). 2) Each tank equipped with continuous reading, digital servo-type automatic tank gauge (ATG). 3) Two (2) 1200 gpm prefilters and two (2), 1,200 gpm receipt filter/separator. 4) Connections to existing fuel system for tank fill and discharge system piping. 5) Extension of base water line system for fire protection. 6) Backup generator building. 7) Fuel recovery tank. 8) Spill containment/release control structure. 9) Electrical power and control systems. 10) Access to; landscaping, road, grading and drainage. 11) Fire protection and potable water system 12) Security lighting. 13) Cathodic protection 14) Containment drainage for the truck fill. The estimated cost of the project is between 1,000,000,000 and 2,500,000,000 Japanese Yen. The Solicitation will be issued o/a January 9, 2003. The Contractor is responsible for all shipping/handling charges associated with the shipment of the solicitati on (CD).
