Description
The Naval Air Systems Command (NAVAIR) is hosting an Industry Day for a follow-on requirement for T56 Series III Engine maintenance and repair under solicitation N00019-03-R-6509. The Industry Day, comprised of briefings from PMA-290, Program Office technical representatives, and NAVAIR Contracts, will be held in conference room 1 West in the Veridian office building located at 22309 Exploration Drive, Lexington Park, Maryland, 20653 on 10 December 2002. Contractor sign-in will commence at 1200. Presentations will begin promptly at 1300 and continue until approximately 1500. Driving directions from the Washington, D.C. area airports can be found at http://maps.yahoo.com. In addition to the driving directions provided on the referenced website, once on Exploration Drive the conference room is in the Veridian building at the bottom of the hill. Parking is in the front and around the side of the building. Documents released prior to Industry Day will be available at http://www.navair.navy.mil/doing_business/open_solicitations/. Interested parties should respond electronically to both Ms. Alyse Bullock, bullockac@navair.navy.mil and Ms. Laura Sells, sellsll@navair.navy.mil. The response shall include: Business name and address, cage code, size classification based on the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement, socioeconomic classification (i.e. woman-owned, HUB zone representation, etc.), and the names of the person(s) planned for attendance. Due to limited seating, a maximum of two persons per company will be allowed. Names shall be submitted no later than 1300 on 5 December 2002. Businesses not registering prior to this closing date and time may not be able to attend if seating is not available. Additionally, responses may include the name and phone number of a point of contact for your company which will be distributed to industry. Questions regarding this announcement should be addressed to both points of contact provided above.
