Description
The Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division, Lakehurst, New Jersey intends to procure on a sole-source basis with The Boeing Company, P.O. Box 516, St. Louis, MO two (2) Operational Test Program Sets (OTPS?s) to support the F/A-18 AN/AAS-38/38A/38B Targeting FLIR offload from Electro Optical Test Set (EOTS) to Consolidated Automatic Support System (CASS); AN/USM-636V(1), Hybrid Test Station with Electro-Optical Subsystem (EOSS). The Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) and Kuwait Air Force (KAF) require these offload OTPS?s to transition from the EOTS to the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) require these offoad OTPS?s to transition from the EOTS to the CASS/EOSS as a result of obsolescence. The Boeing Company, shall provide material and services to produce EOTS Offload OTPS?s. The Navy intends to procure the aforementioned support equipment as a delivery order against Basic Ordering Agreement (BOA) Number N68335-02-G-3117. In accordance with 10 U.S.C 2304 ? (1) as implemented by Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1, The Boeing Company is the ?only responsible source and no other supplies or services will satisfy the requirements.? Any firms that recognize and produce the required items are encouraged to identify themselves. A determination by the Government whether or not to open the requirement for competition based on the response to this notice is entirely within the discretion of the Government.
