Description

This announcement clarifies items in the original CBD announcement for Solicitation GS-03P-03-CDC-0004. I) this is not a metric project. II) The pre-proposal conference providing instructions for the submission of technical proposals will be conducted at the Moorhead Federal Building in Pittsburgh, PA on 12/03/02 at 10:00 AM in rooms 2212-2218. This conference will also serve as a networking session for small and socioeconomically disadvantaged businesses. Contractors are reminded that small and socioeconomically disadvantaged business participation will be a selection evaluation criteria in this award. Please call Ms. Michelle Garofalo at (215) 656-6110 to confirm your attendance. III) Volume IV of this solicitation is now available and may be downloaded from www.fedbizopps.gov. This volume constitutes the Request for Proposals (RFP). Volumes I-III constitute the technical specifications. The technical specifications and drawing may be purchased at this time from an approved printer. Currently, the only approved printer is: Washington Reprographics, 514 Liberty Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15222, (412)281-3811. The procedure for obtaining drawings and specifications is: 1) prospective contractors must complete the Document Security Form at the end of the original CBD announcement, and also enclosed in Section 0800 of Volume IV. 2) Fax the completed form to Mark Lewandowski at (215) 656-5955 for verification. Contractors should allow two days for verification. 3) Prior to picking up the documents contractors must call the printer to determine that they have been cleared to obtain the documents, and to identify the individual they are designating to pick up the documents. 4) Present a Driver's License, or other valid form of photo identification, when picking up documents at the printer.
