Description: We will soon be issuing a solicitation for timber marking and volume estimation of timber sales on the Ottawa National Forest. Responses to our solicitation will be technical proposals covering the potential contractor's qualifications and technical excellence, as well as management capability and past performance. After evaluation of responses and any needed negotiations, we intend to issue "Basic Ordering Agreements" (BOAs) to those parties we determine are most qualified. No cost or pricing information is requested at this time. Project areas may be located in Iron, Gogebic, Ontonagon, Baraga, and Houghton Counties of Michigan.
