- This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Request for Quotation (RFQ) is DLV20385 and incorporates provisions and clauses through FAC 2001-10. This procurement is to be processed using Simplified Acquisition Procedures. The NAICS/Code is 339112/500EM. This is a 100% Small Business Set-Aside. The National Institute of Environmental Health Sciences is interested in obtaining Aerosol Barrier Tips in various sizes as follows: 1) BT20 Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tip, plugged, 2-20 ul, 96 tips/rack, 10 racks/case, Qty of 450 cases; 2) BT200 Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tip, plugged, 20-200 ul, 96 tips/rack, 10 racks/case, Qty of 360 cases; 3) BT1000 Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tips, plugged, 100-1000 ul, 60 tips/rack, 8 racks/case, Qty of 360 cases; 4) BT10E Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tips, plugged, 0.5-10 ul, 96 tips/rack, 10 racks/case, Qty of 120 cases; 5) BT10XL Aerosol Barrier Pipet Tips, plugged, 0.5-10 ul, 96 tips/rack, 10 racks/case, Qty of 180 cases. The aerosol barrier tips should be Continental Laboratory Products brand or Equal. Pipet tips must be sterile and pre-loaded into racks. Quantities shown are estimated ordering quantities for a period of one-year. The criteria for evaluating "or equal" aerosol barrier pipet tips is: 1) Its consistence in dispensing the exact amount of fluid solution; 2) How easy is the tip to affix to the tip of the pipettors and how tight the tip fits with the pipettor; and 3) Does the pipet tip eject easily from the pipettor. In order for the pipet tips to be evaluated, 2 racks of each size pipet tips must be provided with quotation. Award is to be a Term Purchase Order in which items are ordered on an as required basis during the period of 1 year. Delivery of orders will be made to NIEHS Warehouse, Bldg. 104, South Campus, 111 T.W. Alexander Drive, Research Triangle Park, NC 27709. Offeror should quote FOB Destination. The following provision applies to this acquisition: 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors. There are no additional addenda. Offerors shall include a completed copy of the provisions at 52.212-3, Offeror Representation and Certification-Commercial with offers. FAR Clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial, applies to this acquisition. The following paragraphs of 52.212-5 apply: (a) and (11)-(16)(21)(22)(25)(27) of (b) and 52.211-6 Brand Name or Equal. Defense Priorities and Allocations Systems (DPAS) does not apply.
