Description
The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is re-competing our Indefinite-Delivery/Indefinite-Quantity (ID/IQ) contract for collection kits for the Federal Convicted Offender Program that were originally awarded on June 25, 2001. The RFQ is currently available and will be distributed solely through the General Services Administration's Federal Business Opportunities (FBO) web site http://www.fedbizopps.gov/. Hard copies of the RFQ document will not be available. The site provides downloading instructions. All future information about this acquisition, including amendments, will also be distributed solely through the FBO site. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the FBO site to ensure that they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 421490 size standard 100 employees. This acquisition is being issued as RFQ-0034210. This is a solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information. The solicitation is under the Simplified Acquisition Procedures (SAP). This will be a Firm-Fixed price solicitation. The Government intends to award a contract for one base year and four one year options. The Governments' requirement of blood collection kits will support the Federal Convicted Offender Program. All proposals are due no later than January 6, 2003 4:00pm, EST, to FBI, ATT: Julie A. Hammond, RFP-0034210, Room 10254, 935 Pennsylvania Ave., NW, Washington, DC 20535.
