Description

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) plans to acquire, on a sole source basis, a Satellite Transceiver system field wide, both mobile and stationary, from Mobile Satellite Ventures, L.P., who exclusively offers a Push-To-Talk (PTT) function as part of a Network Dispatch Service. The minimum contracted service shall be for an annual period, contingent upon the availability of funding. NAICS Code 513390. Unrestricted. Other than full and open competition 41 U.S.C. 253(c) (1) (Sole Source) FAR 6.302-1. Only one source (see Note 22) Intended source(s): Mobile Satellite Ventures, L.P. The final contract award decision shall be based upon a combination of price, past performance, and other evaluation factors.
