Description

Remove old windows and install new windows with half screens on front of the Recreation Building #4 using the following products: Window shall be HC-40 (heavy Commerical) Single hung and fixed aluminum windows. Color to be Bronze. Minimum window depth shall be 3" to cover all of existing window frame. All window metals must have a nominal wall thickness of .062", except for sill shall have a nominal wall thickness of .078". All windows must be tested and approved by an ANSI/AAMA 101.93 Testing Facility. Paint must meet or exceed AAMA 603.8-80. Glass shall be a minimum of 1/2" insulated glass (using DAB quality clear anneal glass inboard and outboard) glass in fixed part of front entrance shall be 1/2" insulated glass using DSB quality clear tempered inboard and outboard. Glass must have a 5 year warranty on glass failure for insulated glass. Front entrance shall be single hung ove fixed windows mulled together. Screens shall be one half-screens in an extruded frame with black aluminum wire. All windows must be caulked inside and outside using a rubber butyl caulk. Contractor may use a front flange and interior snap trim leaving old main frame. New window must be install making sure to cover all exposed surfaces, any paint damaged must be repaired by contractor.
