Description

NA Purchase of eight (8) each Breakaway Camouflage Systems for enhancement of the M1113 Ground Mobility Vehicle (GMV), NSN 01X5-J9-GMV-E001, P/N GMV-E-001. This acquisition is for a Requirements Contract for a period of one year. The period of performance w ill begin 21 Dec 2002, and may be adjusted dependent upon the closing of the solicitation. This action is to procure, by other than full and open competition, Breakaway Camouflage Systems for the M1113 GMV. Authority Cited: Statutory Authority Permitting Other Than Full and Open Competition for this requirement is 10 U.S.C.2304(c)(1), as implemented by paragraph 6.302-1 of the Federal Acquisition Regulation entitled, Only one Responsible Source and No Other Supplies or Services Will Satisfy Agency Requirem ent, Ref # Note 22. This action is sole source to Saab Barracuda Company, 608 East McNeill Street, Lillington, NC 27548. Saab Barracuda is the Original Equipment Manufacturer, and the only known source with the expertise, knowledge, and technical data pa ckage (TDP) to provide these items. Firms interested in subcontracting opportunities should contact the source listed. The RFQ will be issued to Saab Barracuda. All responsible sources may submit an offer, which will be considered.
