Description

NA Design and construction of a 2650 SM Indoor Small Arms Range Complex including associated administrative, arms storage, classroom and support spaces, for small arms training with weapons including 7.62mm rifle/machine gun Wright Patterson Air Force Base, O hio. The project will consist of a single story slab on grade with precast concrete exterior wall panels, cmu and drywall partitions, long span trusses, standing seam metal roof, specialized HVAC system for lead dust control, bullet traps and range equipm ent. Demolition,exterior utilities and supporting sitework are included. An option for systems furniture is also included. NAICS-233320. SIC - 1542. THIS IS AN UNRESTRICTED PROCUREMENT. Estimated Cost Range is $5M to $10M. Procurement will be by competitiv e negotiation. Source selection factors are Contractor Experience, Individual Experience, Past Performance, Project Management,Technical Approach and Price. All evaluation factors other than cost or price, when combined, are significantly more important th an cost or price. The approximate issue date is December 20, 2002 and the approximate proposal due date is February 5, 2003. POC for this project is Jennifer Anderson at jennifer.j.anderson@lrl02.usace.army.mil. This project is available on compact disk only. Project specification files are Portable Document Format (PDF) files and can be viewed, navigated, or printed using Adobe Acrobat Reader. Minimum system requirements are: 486- based personal computer, Microsoft Windows 3.1 or greater, 8 MB application RAM, 4 MB hard disk space, and compact disk drive.
