Description

The work includes removal of approximately 6000 square feet of existing 4 inch thick concrete topping slab and tapered cellular glass thermal insulation in order to expose and repair existing waterproofing membrane below. After completion of repairs, new tapered cellular glass thermal insulation and 4 inch concrete slab will be installed including all incidental related work. The estimated value is between $100,000 and $250,000. Solicitation will be available on or about 23 December 2002. The solicitation will be available on the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website via the internet at http://esol.navfac.navy.mil. Contractors must register for the solicitation before downloading from the NAVFAC E-Solicitation website. Registered contractors will be notified by e-mail when amendments to the solicitation are issued. The North American Industrial Classification Standard (NAICS) Code is 23561 with an Annual Size Standard of $11.5 million. All responsible sources may submit an offer which will be considered.
