- Description
- The Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) has a requirement to provide administrative telephones, voicemail systems and all associated voice and data cabling at the Air Traffic Control Tower (ATCT), Newark, NJ. Please review this notice on www.asu.faa.gov. Go to Contract Oppportunities and Current Announcements. Companies must have a minimum of five years experience in the Telecommunications field. All work is to be performed by the Communications Workers of America certified technicians. The estimated value is $90,000 to $100,000. This is a best value procurement. Past Performance, financial capability, time of delivery/performance and cost will be used for the basis of award. The Government reserves the right to award on initial offers without discussions or to conduct one on one discussions with one or more offerors. The Government is seeking offers that provide the best combination of quality and price in order to select the greates value or "best buy" offer. Th! erefore, award may be made to other than the lowest price offered. Companies that qualify should submit documentation of their affiliation with the Communications Workers of America on company letterhead and fax a letter of interest to Nadene Fontano at 718-995-5685. There is a limit of six copies of the Screening Information Request (SIR) due to the short turnaround of the project estimated to begin January 13, 2003. Therefore, the first six qualified companies that respond to this announcement will be provided the SIR by Federal Express. Include a Federal Express address, not PO address, in your letter of interest. Requests received after the limit has been reached will not receive a response from the government; however, an announcement will be made naming the six companies who have been sent the SIR. There is a mandatory walk-thru on December 10, 2002 at 2:00 P.M. Walk-thru information is contained in the SIR. No telephone requests will be accepted for the SIR.
