- In accordance with the FAA Acquisition Management System (AMS), the purpose of this announcement is to inform industry of the FAA's intention to exercise the second option period with ITstrategy of Arlington, Virginia. ITstrategy provides services to support the planning and execution of the FTI program including the Invoice and Financial Management Services (IFMS) contract. The FTI acquisition is the largest in the FAA and requires special management, analytical, and technical expertise with an in-depth understanding of FAA telecommunications, FAA acquisition processes, and FAA business practices. ITstrategy has 19 years experience in Telecommunications engineering and analysis, network planning, and information system design and development. ITstrategy participated in the development of the Mission Need Statement that led to the establishment of the FTI program, assisted with the FTI Investment Analysis and supported the development effort for the FTI Screening Information Request (SIR) package. ITstrategy was integrally involved in the FTI source evaluation and is currently assisting the FAA in the program start-up phase. ITstrategy has an in-depth knowledge of the FAA?s requirements for the FTI Integrated Business System (IBS). This expertise will be crucial to ensuring IBS is delivered on schedule and in accordance with FAA requirements. ITstrategy assisted in the development of the IFMS requirements and source evaluation activities. ITstrategy has unparalleled knowledge of IFMS requirements and represents a resource that is critical to the success of the re! cently awarded IFMS contract. A competitive solicitation is not available for this project. If you do not agree with this single source determination, please provide evidence of your firm's capability and experience in providing the services outlined above.
