Description
The Naval Sea Systems Command (NAVSEA) has a requirement in FY03 for fifteen (15) Cooperative Engagement Capability (CEC) systems: ten (10) USG-2 shipboard configurations and five (5) USG-3 airborne configurations. The requirements will also include one (1) Stand Alone Cooperative Engagement Processor (SACEP), four (4) AN/USG-2 Planar Array Antenna Assemblies (PAAA), an option for four (4) additional PAAAs, associated support equipment, and other requirements as may be directed by Congress. Options for FY04 and FY05 requirements will also be solicited. In FY04, NAVSEA has a requirement for thirteen (13) USG-2 systems, two (2) USG-3 systems, four (4) partial USG-3 systems (i.e., completion of 4 partial systems procured under the FY01 production contract), one (1) SACEP, four (4) PAAAs, associated support equipment, and other requirements as may be directed by Congress. In FY05, NAVSEA has a requirement for twelve (12) USG-2 systems, one (1) USG-3 system, one (1) SACEP, four (4) PAAAs, associated support equipment, and other requirements as may be directed by Congress. It is recognized that award of the FY 2004 and FY 2005 options for USG-3 systems will not be authorized without an additional LRIP approval or Full Rate Production decision by the Milestone Decision Authority. The Navy will solicit Raytheon Company, Network Centric Systems Division, 1501 72nd Street North, St. Petersburg, FL 33710 as the sole designer and manufacturer of this equipment and related computer programs. This synopsis is for informational purposes only, for the benefit of potential subcontractors. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate only with the source identified herein.
