Description

NA This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6 as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; quotes are b eing requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The Solicitation number applicable to this procurement is DABJ45-03-T-0025 and is issued as a request for quotation (RFQ). This solicitation document and incorporated provisions and clauses ar e those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-10. This procurement is issued as an unrestricted procurement. The NAICS code assigned to this procurement is 336999 with a size standard of 500 employees. There are two contract line items within this solicitation. Both line items are identical. The difference is that line item 0001 is funded with appropriated funds while line item 0002 is funded with non-appropriated funds. Item 0001, Snow Grooming Machine, quantity of 1 each. Item 0002, Snow Grooming Machine, quantity of 1 each. The description for each of the two line items is as follows: Snow groomer with an All Way front blade (approximate width of 210 inches) and rear multi flex tiller and electric stick steering. Groomer should be designed with a main drive and tiller press ure over-ride system. The snow groomer should also have an electrically controlled diesel engine, with the ability to adjust fuel injection timing and rate according to barometric pressure and temperature and each individual cylinder's performance. Snow groomer must also include a tiller attachment with independent hydrostatic drive motors, one for each of their half of the tiller. Tiller shall not have a single drive to a gear box design. Snow Groomer is to have steel tracks. Horsepower of engine is t o be approximately 274. Purchase price to also include a minimum two (2) year, 2500 hour limited warrantee on parts and labor. Price is to also include on-site operator orientation. The two line items are to be delivered to: US Military Academy, Victor Constant Ski Slope, Bldg. 716, West Point, NY 10996. Contractor is to identify delivery with quote submitted. Delivery is to be FOB Destination. The provision at FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ? Commercial, applies to this acquisition. Evaluat ion will be based on meeting the specifications and then price. Offerors are to include a completed copy of the provision at FAR 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications ? Commercial Items with their quote. FAR clause 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions ? Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition. FAR clause 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required to Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders ? Commercial Items applies to this acquisition.
