Description

The Bureau of Engraving and Printing (BEP) intends to procure through full and open competition Universal Pressure-Sensitive Adhesive Paper for the printing of U.S. postage stamps in accordance with BEP Specification P: PSAPS-1D dated October 23, 2002. The specific BEP stock numbers for PSA Stamp Paper that will be procured is: 1LP00797, Class A, Type II with 225 PMU at a width of 22 inches; 1LP00800, Class A, Type III with 0 PMU at a width of 22 inches; and 1LP00866, Class C, Type III with 0 PMU at a width of 20.5 inches. The BEP intends on awarding one delivery order type contract. The resulting contract will be a Fixed Price Requirements Type for a base period of twelve months and 2 twelve-month option periods. The total estimated quantity for the base period is 31,600,000 feet, for Option Period I is 19,600,000 feet and for Option Period II is 19,600,000 feet. It is anticipated that a solicitation will be issued on or about December 13, 2002. The BEP is posting this announcement, as well as the final solicitation on GSA?s Federal Business Opportunities (FedBizOpps) Internet set at: http://www.eps.gov. Interested offerors are encouraged to register for FedBizOpps electronic notification for issuance of the final solicitation, amendments and/or changes to this notice.
