NA **ATTENTION** FORMAL COMMUNICATION RELATED TO THIS ACQUISITION SHOULD BE DIRECTED TO AMSAM-AC-LS-H, ATTN: CAROLYN GAY, CONTRACTING OFFICER, 256-955-9197. YOU MAY FAX OR MAIL YOUR REQUEST. FAX NUMBER 256-955-7737. This effort is for contractor logistics support to diagnosis, maintain, repair, and test all AMCOM managed major and secondary items, assemblies and subassemblies contained in the STINGER Weapon System. This includes Basic, Reprogrammable Microprocessor ( RMP), Air-to-Air STINGER (ATAS), and Standard Vehicle Mounted Launcher (SMVL). This proposed action is an add-on to existing repair contract DAAH01-99-C-0018, for two additional years of support. RFP will be issued to Raytheon Missile Systems Company, Tuc son, AZ,. The period of performance for this contract option is for option quantities in FY 03, 1 Oct 02 thru 02 Sep 03, and FY 04, 1 Oct 03 thru 30 Sep 04. The closing date annotated is an estimated date and may be adjusted dependent upon the date of rele ase of solicitation; however, solicitation will not close prior to the closing date stated above. This contract is for supplies or services for which the Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source. Suggest that small business firms o r others interested in subcontracting opportunities in connection with this procurement, makes contact with the above listed firm. Foreign Firms are reminded that all requests for solicitation must be processed through their respective embassies. A techn ical data package, which defines all engineering and quality requirements, is not available. All responsible sources may submit a bid, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by this agency. Adequate drawing, specifications, or other technical data are not available for this procurement and will not be furnished. See Numbered Note(s): 22 and 26.
