Description
The purpose of this notice is to determine whether there are a number of responsible sources capable of performing Downhole Geophysical Logging Services as described. BBWI (Contractor) is performing investigations to characterize the pits and trenches within the Radioactive Waste Management Complex (RWMC) Subsurface Disposal Area (SDA) in accordance with the DOE, EPA, and State of Idaho requirements. The scope of work identified is for subcontract support for downhole geophysical logging services for the logging and reporting of 42 to 50 new wells. Subcontractor shall provide management, field activities, technical support and assessments, and shall perform other associated tasks and services as directed by the Contractor. Subcontractor shall log using the following tools: neutron moisture, passive neutron, passive gamma, and n-gamma. Logging will be performed via a 5.5 inch O.D., 4.375 I.D. carbon steel pipe. Additionally, the Contractor may request specific tools to be used to log specific probe holes. Contractor will supply liquid nitrogen to the Subcontractor at the site. The Subcontractor shall supply field crew personnel required for performance of the work. ? The Contractor will provide field support for the logging runs. Operations shall be conducted in accordance with the Subcontractor's Work Plan, calibration records and procedures and procedures submitted and approved via BBWI's Vendor Data submittal procedures and with LMITCO PLN-493, ?Geophysical Logging? Knowledge, Experience & Training Prerequisites: The downhole logging subcontractor must provide personnel to perform the work who have proven experience, a minimum of 5 years of working experience with the aforementioned sensors, and a minimum of 100 wells logged and shall provide evidence of being current in the following training: 40-hr HAZWOPER and 8-hr HAZWOPER update, as needed.
