- Description
- The Department of Veterans Affairs, VAMC San Juan PR, is seeking a contractor to provide Medical Transcription Services. Contract base period shall be February 1, 2003 through September 30, 2003 with four additional option years, subject to the availability of funds. This acquisition is set-aside for 100% small business participation. North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) is 561410 and a size standard of $6 million is applicable to this acquisition. The solicitation will be made available on or about December 16, 2002 with a due date of January 14, 2003, by 10:30 am PR Local time. Copies of the solicitation may be obtained at no charge at the Business Opportunities System website http://www.bos.oamm.va.gov . This solicitation will be available in electronic format only. The solicitation number for this acquisition will be 672-334-03. This solicitation is a request for proposal. Dissemination is limited to electronic medium and the VA will provide no hard copies. Any amendments issued to this solicitation will also be available at the URL address. Once the solicitation is posted Offerors are advise that they are responsible to review and for monitoring this solicitation (672-334-03) in the website frequently to ensure that they have most up to date information about this acquisition. Offeror are responsible for downloading their own copy of the solicitation and amendments. Proposals must be mailed to: VA Medical Center, Contracting Office (BO-03), 10 Casia Street, San Juan, PR 00921-3200 by or before January 14, 2003 at 10:30am (PR local time). This acquisition is being issued using simplified acquisition procedures, under the authority of the Commercial Items Test program.
