- Description
- The following questions have been asked by prospective contractors. Provided are answers to these questions. In addition, additional information is provided. 1. Is mold builder to determine shrink? Yes, the molder is responsible for determining shrink. 2. Should price include steel safe conditions to adjust after first sample? The final molded samples must meet the drawing requirements. Any changes to the mold will require a new set of samples. 3. Is delivery to first sample? Delivery is final sample. 4. Do you want post-molding machining or molded complete using slides/core pulls? Any features that can be molded in should be. Any too complex to mold with slides/core pulls may be machined, but machining must be minimized. 5. How are parts approved, simple inspection of samples or ppap? Parts will be approved based on a dimensio nal inspection. Additional information is provided as follows: 1. The Government will furnish the inserts (3738AS150-001) to be molded into the ten samples of 37338AS156. 2. The Government will furnish twenty pounds of Zytel 80G33HS1L resin for the sample parts.
