- Description
- The Air Force Research Laboratory Munitions Directorate Flight Vehicles Integration Branch (AFRL/MNAV) is announcing an Industry Day opportunity for the Persistent Area Dominance (PAD) program in an effort to find interested sources to develop and demonstrate subsystem technology development that will enable denial of enemy operations over extended areas with air delivered, loitering munitions capable of defeating ground surface targets. The objectives of the PAD program are to develop technologies for long-loiter area suppression munitions. Technologies include, but are not limited to, airframes: affordable lightweight, high L/D, compressed carriage, low observable components; data link: real-time data link interface, data link sensors; propulsion: advanced efficient propulsion, autonomous aerial refueling; sub munitions: positive control sub munition and micro-probe dispensing, multiple event sub muntion dispensing. The government anticipates one contract award for up to 48 months duration. Submission of capability packages is not required but will be accepted at the industry day meeting, at the one-on-one sessions, or can be mailed or e-mailed in advance of the Industry Day to Lt.
