Description

NA Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Weibel Equipment, 1221 Shaker Drive, Herndon, VA 20170-2415. This contract will be for upgrading a Weibel Radar Analyzer mod el TC700 to a TC700i, which will provide compatibility in form, fit, and function with our pre-existing systems at USAYPG. Weibel Equipment is the only authorized vendor in the United States that can provide the proprietary Weibel TC700i upgrade. Interes ted parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 1:00 P.M. MST on December 16, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time period for receipt of proposals for consideration is 10 days instead of 45 days.
