- NA Fort Hood Contracting Command is soliciting for a firm-fixed price requirements type construction contract consisting of a base period (from date of award through one year) with four one-year option periods. The Contractor will be required to provide all supervision, all labor, equipment and materials required for maintenance of existing roadways, tank trails, and parking lots, as well as modification of existing roadways, and construction of new roadways, access points, barrier walls and parking lots on t he Fort Hood military reservation, Fort Hood, Texas, in accordance with technical specifications and drawings. Work will consist of removal of flexible pavements and reinforced concrete, placement of miscellaneous concrete, grading, clearing of organic ma terial, placement of single and double bituminous surface treatment, placement of delineators, placement and removal of permanent signs, pavement striping and marking, establishment of turf, installation and operation of traffic control signal equipment, j acking and boring, retaining walls, aircraft tiedowns, structural steel fabrication, etc. One contract will be awarded to the bidder whose bid is responsive to all aspects and requirements of the solicitation, considering price and other price related fac tors. All work under this contract will be ordered by issuance of individual delivery/task orders. The esimated magnitude of this project is expected to be between $25,000,000.00 and $100,000,000.00; NAICS is 234110. This acquisition is being advertised as 100% set aside for small business concerns.
