- NA CONTACT Dylan Chung, Electronics Engineer, (732) 532-9181. This is a market survey to locate a potential manufacturer, who also has capabilities to redesign by using today?s technologies, for the AM-1780B/VRC, Audio Frequency Amplifier. The AM-1780B/VRC is the main junction box for the AN/VIC-1. It provides control of dc power to the associated crewmember control boxes and to the radio system that may be connected to the amplifier. The AM-1780B also amplifies and controls the audio signals in the interc ommunication and radio circuits. The AM-1780B operates at a frequency range of 500 Hz to 3000 Hz with power requirements of 22 to 30 volts dc. The government is buying 600 each of the AM-1780B, Audio Frequency Amplifier with 200% option. The interested b idders shall submit a manufacturing cost estimate by using government drawings (build to print) with first article testing to US Army/CECOM, Communication Directorate, ATTN: AMSEL-LC-COM-R-MR (D.
