Description
Acquisition is changed to a Commercial Item Purchase. The release date was changed from December 12, 2002 to December 6, 2002. Due date changed to December 12, 2002. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items, prepared in accordance with the format in Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The solicitation is issued as a request for quotation. The solicitation document and incorporated provisions, and clauses are those in effect through Federal Acquisition Circular (FAC) 2001-10. The solicitation is 100% set-aside for Small Businesses. The associated NAICS code is 485510 and small business size standard is $6.0 million. The contractor shall provide two buses on Friday, December 20, 2002, 12:00 noon, at Chemawa Indian School Gymnasium, 3700 Chemawa Road NE, Salem, Oregon, for students and chaperones. BUS SCHEDULE #1 for 52 persons from Salem, OR: A) 155 Stevenson Street, Reno, NV (14 students); B) Ute Plaza, 7500 E @ Hwy 191 and Hwy 40, Ft. Duchesne, UT (18 std); C) Last stop - 1625 Elk Street, Rock Springs, WY (19 std and 2 Chaperones). BUS SCHEDULE #2 for 55 persons from Salem, OR: a) 2721 Kennewick Avenue, Kennewick, WA (25 std); b) 15 S. Havana Street, Spokane, WA(6 std); c) Hwy 89 & Rt 2, Browning, MT (9 std); d) 421 6th Avenue, Cut Bank, MT (3 std); e) Last stop - 200 E. Main Street, Wolf point, MT (10 std and 2 chaperones). The contractor shall provide two buses on Saturday, January 4, 2003, 12:00 noon, at the last stop of each schedule and arrive at each location mentioned above to return students to school by January 5, 2002. The provision at 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors ?Commercial, and the clause at 52.212-4, Contract Terms and Conditions-Commercial Items, apply to this acquisition. The clause at 52.212-5, Contract Terms and Conditions Required To Implement Statutes Or Executive Orders-Commercial Items, applies to this acquisition and the following additional FAR clauses cited in this clause are applicable: (5) 52.219-8, (12) 52.222-26, (13) 52.222-35, (14) 52.222-36, (15) 52.222-37, (16) 52.222-19, and (25) 52.232-34. Offerors shall submit a completed copy of the provision of 52.212-3, Offeror Representations and Certifications-Commercial Items, AND a time schedule of each bus route (round trip) with its offer. Evaluation procedures: The Government shall award a purchase order resulting from this solicitation to the responsible offeror whose offer conforming to the solicitation will be most advantageous to the Government, price considered.
