Description

The work consists of the construction of two 16-inch diameter water wells, including drilling, casing, grouting and development, and installation of two 1000 gpm submersible pumps, drop pipe and appurtenances. The project location is at the USFW Desoto National Wildlife Refuge, Missouri Valley, Iowa. The magnitude of this requirement in terms of physical characteristics and estimated price range is between $25,000 and $100,000. This procurement is issued unrestricted under Public Law 100-656, Small Business Competitiveness Demonstration Program. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code is 235810, Water Well Drilling Contractors, with a small business size standard of $12.0M. The solicitation package will be available free of charge approximately December 23, 2002, with bid opening scheduled for January 22, 2003.
