- Description
- SCOPE OF REQUIREMENT. The OCC has a requirement for information to assess risks in emerging market countries. The target of the information is to identify fundamental macroeconomic stress(es) in a country through analyses of economic, financial system, and political risks. Analyses shall address the potential for the following types of risks: Currency crisis, Debt default, and Banking crisis. This solicitation is for emerging markets generally, however coverage of the following key emerging market countries is mandatory: Argentina, Brazil, Mexico, Chile, Peru, and Venezuela; South Korea, India, Malaysia, Thailand, Philippines, Taiwan, China; Poland, Hungary, Russia; and Turkey, Jordan, UAE, Kuwait, Qatar, Bahrain, Saudi Arabia. The Electronic and Information Technology (EIT) proposed for delivery of the information must comply specified standards of Section 508 of the Rehabilitation Act of 1973, as amended. Period of performance will be a base period from date of award through September 30, 2003, and two option periods of one year each through September 30, 2005. HOW TO ACQUIRE A COPY OF THE SOLICITATION. The OCC anticipates issuing the solicitation at this web site, FedBizOpps.gov, approximately five to ten business days after the date of this synopsis. The solicitation document will contain the details of OCC?s requirement, the instructions for submitting a quote, and how the quotes will be evaluated. You may E-mail your interest in this requirement to thora.stanwood@occ.treas.gov. All responsible sources may submit a quote that will be considered by the OCC. OCC anticipates awarding a contract by the end of January 2003 using the simplified acquisition process. NAICS Code: 514199, All Other Information Services. This is not a small business setaside. However, the Small Business Size Standard is $6,000,000. #####
