Description

NA Anniston Army Depot supports a multi-mission industrial base, recognized for heavy combat vehicle expertise. As such, this procurement is for a Paint Prime Vendor to include a main warehouse and satellite storage areas. The required service under this c ontract includes but is not limited to the procedures necessary for paint supplies and distribution under the Paint Prime Vendor contract to include: the staffing of an on-site paint warehouse, the provision for walk-up service for Government customers, a nd the distribution of paint and other related materials to satellite distribution points. All transactions shall be recorded in the Government’s Hazardous Materials Management System (HMMS) software. The contractor shall provide all materials, labor, t ools, transportation, personal protective clothing and equipment (PPC&E), phone, and main service required in the performance of these services. Complete Statement of Work will be included in the solicitation package. The North American Industry Classifi cation System (NAICS) code is: 541614. The size standard is $20 million. One Job. This is contract is for a base year and four option years. This is an unrestricted procurement. Estimated Request for Quotation issue date is 15 Jan 03. This Solicitat ion will be issued electronically in accordance with FAR 4.501, 5.102 (a)(7) and 14.205-1(c); therefore, hardcopies will not be provided. Vendors wishing an electronic copy may download it on or after the issue date by accessing the following address via the Internet: http: //www.anadprocnet.army.mil (Doing Business With Us). Bids/quotes must be submitted electronically as indicated in the solicitation. CAUTION: This Solicitation will be issued electronically as will any amendments thereto. Becau se of this, the Government is under no obligation and is, in fact, unable to maintain a bidder's mailing list. It is therefore incumbent upon any interested parties to periodically access the above Internet address in order to obtain any amendments which may be issued. Failure to obtain any said amendments and to respond to them prior to the date and time set for receipt of quotations may render your quotation non-responsive and result in the rejection of your quotation.
