Description

NA Sole Source. The United States Army Yuma Proving Ground (USAYPG), Yuma, Arizona, intends to negotiate a sole source contract with Infinition Inc., 3630 Jean Talon, Trois-Rivieres, QC G8Y 2G7, Canada. This requirement is for a Infinition BR-3501 Ballistic Radar System. Infinition Inc. is the original equipment manufacturer (OEM) and only known source that can provide the required radar system that will provide compatibility in form, fit, and function with our existing Infinition Radar Systems and Software currently in use at USAYPG. Interested parties may submit technical literature showing their capability to meet the Government requirement no later than 1:30 P.M. MST on December 18, 2002. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. A determination by the Government not to compete with this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. See Note 22, with the exception that the time period for receipt of proposals for consideration is 8 days instead of 45 days.
