Description

The 377th Contracting Squadron at Kirtland Air Force Base New Mexico intends to award a purchase order under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for the purchase of a Medox Regenerative Amplifier Pockels Cell System or Equal. This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subparts 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; Quotations are being requested and a written solicitation will not be issued. The reference number is F3PLF922320100 and is issued as a Request for Quotation (RFQ). The solicitation document incorporated provisions and clauses in effect through the Federal Acquisition Circular 2001-10 and Defense Acquisition Circular 91-13. This requirement is being solicited unrestricted. The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code is 333992, size standard 750. The contractor shall provide the following: Medox brand name or equal. Line Item #001-1 ea, Medox Regenerative amplifier pockels cell system; -Part number 6800870 or equal. The system includes: Pockel cell driver electronics, pockels cell assembly & KD*P cell for the 800nm, Rep rate 0-5 kHz, - wave voltage, 60 mm Beam Height; operates on 120 volts. Award will be made to the offeror whose quotation represents the best value to the Government. The Government requires FOB destination. Place of delivery and acceptance is AFRL/DE, Attn: Ron Cowling, Bldg 1010 (west), 4600 Randolph Rd., Kirtland AFB, NM 87117. The required delivery date is 30 DAYS AFTER RECEIPT OF ORDER. The following provisions and clauses can be viewed through Internet access at the Air Force FAR Site, http://farsite.hill.af.mil. In Accordance with FAR 52.252-1 (Feb 1998) and FAR 52.252-2 (Feb 1998), the following provisions and clauses are incorporated by reference: FAR 52.212-1, Instructions to Offerors, Commercial Items (Oct 2000), with the following: Technical description of the items being offered in sufficient detail to evaluate compliance with the requirements of the solicitation (i.e. product literature), the terms of any expressed warranty, price and any discounts, and delivery times; OFFERORS MUST INCLUDE WITH THEIR PROPOSAL A COMPLETED COPY OF THE PROVISION AT FAR 52.212-3, OFFEROR REPRESENTATIONS AND CERTIFICATIONS-COMMERCIAL ITEMS (July 2002). In accordance with DFARS 252.204-7004, REQUIRED CENTRAL 201CONTRACTOR REGISTRATION (NOV 2001), prior to receiving any contract award, contractors must be registered in the Central Contract Registration (CCR). If not already registered, you should immediately register with CCR by calling 1-888-227-2423 or via the Internet at (www.ccr.gov). CCR registration must be obtained before award can be made.
