Description

Remove asbestos pipe insulation from two buildings as follows: Bldg. 7 - approximately 150 lineal feet of insulation in two dormitory rooms on the second floor. Bldg. 19 - remove approximately 1,600 lineal feet of pipe insulation and approximately 400 lineal feet of asbestos duct tape on supply ductwork in the attic area of the building. NOTE:This area includes friable asbestos that has fallen to the attic floor. The work must include complete decontamination of the entire attic space (approximately 3,500 square feet). Project is located at the Tongue Point Job Corps Center in Astoria, OR. A mandatory pre-bid conference will be held at the Center on Wednesday, January 15, 2003 at 10:00 am. Construction bid package and Scope of Work will be available after December 16, 2002.
