- This requirement is being issued by Gov.Works under the franchise authority of the Department of the Interior on behalf of the 30th Medical Brigade in accordance with FAR 13.5, Test Program for Certain Commercial Items. The 30th Medical Brigade is assigned to 5th Corps, which is the maneuver element to U.S. Army Europe, the Component to U.S. European Command has a requirement for Air Condition Unit. The Government intends to solicit and negotiate with only one source, Dantherm Environmental Air Management under the authority of FAR 6.302.1. The Air Conditioner (AC) unit manufactured by Dantherm is the only National Stock Number (NSN) item in the inventory that can support the requirement with the existing authorize unit power generation equipment. The importance of this NSN item, states that this item has been tested and certified as reliable and sustainable in harsh extreme conditions. The AC unit with 1x230V/50 Hz includes Thermostat with cable and plug, Air Hose, insulated 3m with a Storage Stand for air hose. The AC Unit shall have an air distribution duct of 6 mtr with wire. Negotiations are anticipated with Dantherm Environmental Air Management. Interested parties may identify their interest and capabilities by submitting specifications or submit cost proposal. This is not a request for competitive proposal. However, the Government will consider all proposals received within 5 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract is based upon responses to this notice and is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement.
