- Description
- This is not a Request for Proposals. This is the VA Austin Automation Center (AAC)'s notice of intent to negotiate a sole source contract for CONNECT:Direct OS390 with Sterling Commerce. The AAC currently has CONNECT:Direct MVS. Since Sterling Commerce is no longer providing software maintenance services for the MVS version of CONNECT:Direct, the AAC must migrate to the OS390 version of CONNECT:Direct. The migration to the OS390 version requires a new license and no other source is available to provide CONNECT:Direct OS390, hence a new contract for the license and new version of the software. The procurement is being conducted using FAR Part 12 procedures, and award is targeted for December 17, 2002.
