- NA THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. U.S. Army Contracting Command is conducting market research to seek qualified sources capable of providing line of communication bridge for U.S. Forces use in Korean peninsula. Pre-fabricated, modular, hand or mechanical build, double or single lane, clear span (approx. 40 meter) and deployable bridge system, similar to Bailey type panel bridge with load capacity of minimum Military Load Capacity (MLC) or class 70, for single lane with Specifications IAW ISO 900 1 Standards or Equivalent. The NAICS Code is 332312 (SIC3441) and open to all qualified sources. THIS IS A SOURCES SOUGHT ANNOUNCEMENT ONLY. No paper copies will be issued and requests for solicitations will not receive a response. Any information sub mitted is voluntary. The government will not pay for any information submitted in response to this SOURCES SOUGHT request. Interested businesses must be registered in the Central Contractor Registration and are required to submit their statement of inter est and capabilities to US Army Contracting Command, ATTN: S&S Branch, POC is MS. Young, Unit 15289, APO AP 96205-5289. All responses are required not later than 13 January 2003 and may be mailed to the address above, faxed to 011 82 2 7914-6887, or Ema il YoungU@usfk.korea.army.mil. Place of Delivery Address: Sea-port in South Korea Within approximately 45 to 60 days from initial notification by US Forces in Korea (USFK). Initial requirement is 40 sets and shipment and delivery could be accomplished in two or more phases. The contractor will supply, transport, and deliver the bridge units to a pre-designated aerial or sea-port in South Korea. The USFK will provide transportation from Port of Arrival to construction site. The bridge units will be built on-site by U.S. troop labor. Contractor provided training aids for assembly will also be needed.
