Description
NA This synopsis has been modified in order to incorporate the fact that this project is 100% set-aside for Small Business concerns. For the purposes of this procurement, a concern is considered a small business if its annual average gross revenue, taken for the last three (3) years, does not exceed $10.5 Million dollars. The Seattle District has a requirement for a s ervice contract for Fire Alarm Systems Inspection, Testing and Maintenance. This includes maintaining fire extinguishing and automatic fire alarm systems at Fort Lewis, Washington. Proposed procurement will result in award of a Firm Fixed Price Contract wi th a base year plus 4 option years. Contractor must be experienced in this type of work to include: Size of contract, Multiple Buildings, coordination with building owners for access Inspection of installed fire extinguishing and automatic fire alarm syst ems, Preventive and Corrective Maintenance of installed fire alarm systems, Commercial installed fire extinguishing and automatic fire alarm systems, Components repair and servicing, Testing of installed fire extinguishing and automatic fire alarm systems, Knowledge of IAW applicable and NFPA standards and Fire Alarm Technicians Journeyman with minimum 5 years of experience in Fire Alarm/Fire Suppression Systems. (Licensed and certified for Commercial work) The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) Code is 561621 and the with size standard of 10.5 million. This solicitation will be issued as an Electronic Bid Set (EBS) on Seattle District U.S. Army Corps of Engineers Contracting Web page in e lectronic format only. No disks will be mailed. Firms must register via the Internet at the following address: http://www.nws.usace.army.mil/ct/ in order to receive notification about amendments. The solicitation will be available for download on or abo ut 15 JANUARY 2003.
