- Description
- The Naval Undersea Warfare Center Division Keyport intends to solicit and negotiate with Perry Slingsby Systems, 821 Jupiter Park Drive, Jupiter, FL 33458 on a sole source basis for upgrade/refurbishment of a Government-owned remotely operated vehicle. This acquisition will be conducted using the policies and procedures of FAR Part 12. Perry Slingsby is the original equipment manufacturer and is the only company that possesses the parts, technical data and design parameters to service the equipment. The work to be performed includes, but is not limited to, installing a new buoyancy flotation, Innerspace thrusters, and a signal junction box, providing a vehicle manipulator, and a vehicle spares and support kit. The Government anticipates award of a firm fixed price contract. The solicitation will be issued on or about December 26, 2002. All effort under this acquisition shal l be completed within fifteen weeks after award. Interested parties may identify their interest and capability to respond to the requirement or submit a proposal. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive proposals. Award will be made on or about January 17, 2003. Numbered Note 22 applies.
