- Description
- The United States Government is seeking to lease approximately 14,252 rentable sq. ft. of office space with on site parking for 60 vehicles. The area of consideration is the city of Kalamazoo, plus an area extended to the west, as defined by the city limits on the east, 9th Street on the west, Main Street on the north and Stadium Street on the south. Both acceptable buildings and build-to-suit projects will be considered. Rentable space must yield between 11,300 and 12,400 usable square feet of office space. The proposed lease is for 20 years, 10 years firm. Space must be ready for occupancy no later than Spring of 2004. The offered space should be fully serviced and must be able to meet all Government requirements, including Fire & Safety and Handicapped Accessibility. After an on-site survey by the Government, the area of consideration may be revised to include a smaller geographic area. Likewise, the requirements stated here may be changed by the Government, depending on a review of the overall mission of the Government agency to be housed in the space. The General Services Administration will not utilize tenant brokers to represent the Government in this procurement. Proposals from brokers or agents should be accompanied by evidence showing authorization to represent the ownership Expressions of interest should include building or site address, a map of the location, and a site, elevation and block plan, if available.
