Description

NA Fort Bragg Directorate of Contracting is conducting a market research of industry to determine if the Government?s needs for storing and maintaining Privately Owned Vehicles (POVs) for deployed Fort Bragg Soldiers, may be met by a type of service available in the commercial marketplace and to determine whether this service could be provided under contract as a small-business set-aside. The POV?s may be stored at a Government owned storage yard or facility, however, the Government is also entertaining the i dea of utilizing a Contractor owned facility as well. The general scope of responsibilities is as follows: Receive, inspect, maintain, secure and store POV?s; Start engine, inspect and move vehicles once a month as preventive maintenance; Establish and maintain automated record keeping and key control for each POV; Liable for loss, damage or theft of POV?s while in Contractor?s custody; All interested parties should provide comments and an outline of proposed operating procedures applicable for this potential service, as well as information regarding your business size, status and point of contact.
