- NA This project (2,327.94 square meter (25,057.74 square feet) gross area) is a new 100 member Army Reserve Training Center (ARC), an Organizational Maintenance Shop (OMS), and an unheated storage building for an Engineering Battalion Company. Buildings will be permanent construction with reinforced concrete foundations, concrete floor slabs, structural steel frames, masonry veneer exterior walls, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems. Supporting facilities include demolition of existing structures, land cl earing, paving, fencing, general site improvements, and extension of utilities to serve the project. Force protection (physical security) measures include maximum feasible standoff distance from roads, parking areas, and vehicle loading areas, heavy lands caping, and bollards to prevent access when standoff distances cannot be maintained. The ARC includes administrative areas, assembly area, classrooms and learning complex, arms vault and unit and individual storage areas. The OMS provides for the functio nal training of maintenance personnel. The OMS space includes one work bay, tool and parts storage, shop office, flammable storage, controlled waste storage, and toilet. The unheated storage facility will provide non-climate controlled storage space for unit equipment. In addition, the project will provide Military Equipment Parking (MEP) and Privately Owned Vehicle (POV) parking. Intrusion detection systems (IDS) support requirements are for weapons vault and fire/security safety. There are 6 option i tems, they are paving, landscaping, clerestory, exterior lighting, operable partitions and lightning protection. This project is available on compact disk only. The estimated cost range for this project is between $5,000,000.00 to $10,000,000.00. Sol icitation documents will be available on or about 06 January 2003 and Bid Opening Date is 06 February 2003 at 2:00 P.M. Louisville Local Time.
