Description: The Joint Strike Fighter Program Office intends to issue a sole source contract modification under Contract N00019-96-C-0176 to General Electric Aircraft Engines (GEAE), General Electric Company, One Neumann Way, Cincinnati, OH 45215. The GEAE contract modification will require additional engine component design; hardware fabrication, and test and system integration tasks that will provide risk reduction for the GEAE F136 engine prior to entering the System Design and Development program phase. GEAE is the only responsible source capable of performing this requirement. Any programmatic questions should be addressed to Mr. James Wafzig @james.wafzig@jsf.mil.
