- NOUN: Mounting Bracket; NSN: 5340-01-412-8477NZ; P/N: 4071804; QTY RANGE: Min; 9,552, Med; 19,103, Max: 28,655; U/I: Each; Delivery: 2,500 per month beginning 01 JAN 03 to Tinker AFB, OK; APPLICABLE TO: F100PW229 Engine; SIZE/DIMENSIONS: Approx 4.031 inches long X1.250 inches wide X 0.625 inches at the highest point, 0.078 inches thick; PREDOMINANT MATERIAL: Titanium Alloy; FORM/FIT/FUNCTION: Mounting seat serves as a wear plate for attaching bridge clamps on augmentor divergent segments. Anticipated solicitation date: 01 NOV 02; Anticipated award date: 20 DEC 02. No telephone solicitation requests will be accepted. To be eligible for contract award, offerors must be approved sources. Additional qualification information may be obtained from OC-ALC/BC Attention: Source Development Office, 3001 Staff Drive, Suite 1AG85A, Tinker AFB, OK 73145-3009, phone 405-739-7243. The Government is not required to delay contract award to review pending Source Approval Requests (SARs). Therefore, offerors are encouraged to submit SARs as soon as possible. If the Government has not completed review of the SAR when the contract is awarded, the SAR will be retained and the source will be reviewed for possible Source Approval for future awards. Government Furnished drawings are not available. The award will be made to an approved source. Authority: 10 U.S.C. 2304(c)(1). A Request for Proposal using Basic Source Selection procedures will be issued. Requests for the RFP can be requested via FAX at 405-734-8776. An Ombudsman has been appointed to address concerns from offerors or potential offerors during the proposal development phase of this acquisition. The Ombudsman does not diminish the authority of the program director or contracting officer, but communicates contractor concerns, issues, disagreements, and recommendations to the appropriate Government personnel. When requested, the Ombudsman shall maintain strict confidentiality as to the source of the concern. The Ombudsman dos not participate in the evaluation of proposals or in the source selection process. Interested parties are invited to call OC-ALC/PKC at 405 736-3273.
