Description
NA The U.S. Army intends to solicit a Request for Proposal RFP on a sole source basis to Raytheon Systems Company RSC, McKinney, Tx for the TOW ITAS Contractor Logistics Support. This acquisition is for supplies and services necessary to provide TOW MITAS CL S to support current and forecasted Army Brigade Combat Team BCT fielding requirements and maintain Operational Readiness (OR). The basic requirement will be for a 12 month effort for support of conflict or emergency, Go To War GTW actions to provide long -term support for TOW MITAS units deployed in a combat environment. This effort will be a modification to the existing TOW ITAS CLS contract DAAH01-02-C-0028 and is planned for award in December 2002. The start date shall be no later than Jan 2003 and en d nlt December 2003. The period of performance will be from contract modification issuance through December 2003. This synopsis is for notification of subcontracting opportunities and information purposes only. Subcontracting opportunities must be arran ged between the prime and any potential subcontractors. The TOW ITAS CLS requirement will contain or require access to both classified and unclassified data, and data whose export is restricted by the Arms Export Contract Act (Title 22, U.S.C. Sec 2751 et seq) or the Export Administration Act (Title 50, U.S.C. App 2401-2402). Foreign industry may participate at the subcontractor level in relation to the TOW ITAS prime contract, RSC. Foreign industry and/or non-U.S. citizens desiring a copy of the release able portion of the solicitation must submit an official request through their respective embassy, Washington D.C. to HQDA, ATTN: DAMI-POC. Foreign owned controlled, or influenced (FOCI) entities desiring a copy of the releasable portions of the TOW MITAS CLS requirement must submit an official request to the U.S. Army Aviation and Missile Command, ATTN: AMSAM-SI-SD, Redstone Arsenal, AL 35898; however, release is not guaranteed. Requests from foreign industry and/or FOCI entities received by any other means will not be honored. Release date for this requirement is December 2002. This synopsis is for notification of subcontracting opportunities and informational purposes only.
